ACTIVE GAMING MEDIA inc. 's PLAYISM announced that the 2D escapist action platform game "Ministry of Broadcast" will be released today, May 7, 2020, on Nintendo Switch.

The dystopian novel story moves to the host platform

Created by a Czech developer, it combines a reality show with a dystopian game set in George Orwell's novel 1984. The world view of the story is full of black humor and satire of management ignorance.

It was a cold wall built overnight, dividing the country and separating everyone who lived within it from their families. In order to see his family again, the main character must win a government-sponsored television show, "fortress besieged," and try to break through the barriers to the free world.

The site, which has been monitoring exiles since the release of the PC version, will continue to operate after the Switch release, hoping to join you in enjoying the show.

Those of you who attended the show please report it to PLAYISM and we'll add it to our watch list. Only applications are accepted. No referrals or informations will be accepted.

There is not much difference between the Switch and PC versions, but the PC version has been tweaked since release, with the number and location of checkpoints adjusted, and a focus on playability to make the Switch version easier to play. In addition, we've added a "simple" mode, which reduces the difficulty of puzzles and actions and is more friendly to players who want to concentrate on enjoying NPC dialogue and game visuals.

George Orwell's masterpiece dystopian novel 1984 has been released as an indie game 70 years after his death.

Game Content

The game inherits a bold, classic and intense action soul, with jumping, hanging, avoiding, and solving puzzles as in prince of Persia. At the same time, its story and world view with simple pixel animation or dialogue with NPCS to express the background of the story, provides a unique game experience for players, leading them to embark on a journey into this cynical and even cruel world.

The world view of the game is full of ironic sense of humor, which shows a group of ignorant management in the dark society, and makes players deeply reflect on what is life, what is country and what is personal happiness.

Players manipulate the main character, orange, but can also watch the show as an audience. By the time you get into the game, you may not be able to tell if you're the main character, orange hair, or a viewer of the reality show.
