Into The Night (2020) is good as a suspenseful thriller. It has done a lot of foreshadowing and left a lot of suspense. The following reveals slight plot, does not affect watching.
The pace is fast, and the whole show can be watched in less than half a day. It's only six episodes. It's moving fast, and politically correct with reservations.
Leave a few questions
1. will the Italian soldiers die? If they don't, is the disaster over?
2. the small animals encountered in the hospital, does that mean that some creatures will survive.
3. the people in the bunker say they need help, what kind of help.
The setting of this drama is very similar to doomsday lonely ship, the sun causes global disaster and human extinction is more reliable than the virus, the virus does not have so much power. The virus also belongs to the biological attack.
Into The Night is only six episodes long, but it has the advantage of being short. It doesn't drag. It shows humanity in a disaster movie, but doesn't overdo it.
Another advantage of Into The Night is that the show does not sacrifice everyone to save the family. Because it's a Belgian show, not an American show. The heros are European, Italian, Polish, Turkish. That line that Poland and Turkey have never won a war is hilarious.
All in all, it was great, and I recommend it.
