Netflix's partnership with Marvel will end and some shows may be taken offline on February 28

Earlier, a spokesperson for Netflix and Disney, who asked not to be named, has confirmed to The Verge that Netflix's license will end on Feb. 28.

Before Disney launched streaming, Netflix Netflix and Marvel teamed up to launch a series of TV shows. But Netflix announced that soon, users will no longer be able to watch shows like "Daredevil," "Luke Cage," "Jessica Jones," "Iron Fist," "The Defenders," and "The Punisher" on Netflix.

Several characters from Netflix shows appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and as production continued to normalize, Marvel decided to take them back into their own arms. However, shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and some animated content should remain on Netflix.
