OLED VS. QLED TV, what's their difference? This question may confuse many users when choosing a TV. So which one is better anyway? Let's find out.

OLED VS. QLED TV, What's their difference?

What's OLED?

OLED, or Organic Light-emitting Diode, works by making Organic compounds that emit light when energized, turning each pixel on and off. OLED TV screens need millions or even tens of millions of them to produce a complete picture.

What's QLED?

QLED is called Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode for short. In theory, this quantum dot technology could improve key image quality metrics by upgrading and optimizing OLED technology to improve the black purity of LED displays.

What's the difference between an OLED TV and a QLED TV?

Since QLED TVS still relies on the backlight of LCD panels, OLED TVS can be thinner than Qleds in terms of TV thickness and better in terms of black purity. In terms of brightness, QLED TVS performs better than OLED TVS. Overall, QLED TVS offers better picture quality than OLED TVS, but OLED is also popular for being thinner and more energy-efficient.

OLED does not have a blue light that can hurt eyes, while QLED backlight is a blue LED light source that irradiates quantum dots to stimulate red and green light, which is bad for eyes for a long time. Personally, I like OLED.

QLED is LCD TV, LCD TV cannot achieve zero response in the response time, the motion picture is ghosting, a backlight will be light-leaking contrast can't do it better, do bad, black white part will be excessive exposure white, the image quality can't be compared with OLED TV, OLED TV too much better than the so-called QLED, completely is two kinds of technology.

As Samsung advertises, QLED TVS have considerable advantages when it comes to brightness.
