Affected by the current COVID-19 epidemic, many foreign game developers have adopted telecommuting measures. While many developers have grown accustomed to telecommuting, nintendo is one of those developers whose productivity has undeniably suffered in some way.
Nintendo was supposed to hold a global summit in June, but the event was postponed because of covid-19. Now, according to Eurogamer, not only will the direct encounter be delayed, but some of nintendo's first games will also be affected, with their development slowed slightly by telecommuting measures and their public and release dates delayed.
Of course, nintendo has yet to officially respond to Eurogamer's claims, so for now it's just a rumor.
