Micro RGB Technology for Superior Backlight Precision

At the heart of this new TV is Samsung’s proprietary Micro RGB technology. The backlight system uses microscopic LEDs—each less than 100 micrometers in diameter—allowing for exceptional control over light output. Unlike conventional backlighting, which often uses grouped LEDs, this design enables individual control of every red, green, and blue LED, resulting in far greater color accuracy and brightness consistency.

AI-Powered Visual Performance

The display is driven by the Micro RGB AI Engine, capable of refresh rates up to 144Hz. It features a built-in NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that optimizes colors in real time based on the content being displayed. The AI also upscales lower-resolution material to near-4K quality.

The TV supports HDR10+ Adaptive and HDR10+ Gaming certifications, ensuring high dynamic range performance for both cinematic viewing and gaming.

Anti-Glare Design and Premium Audio

Samsung has applied an anti-glare coating to the panel surface, reducing reflections for a clearer viewing experience in bright rooms. Audio is delivered through an integrated 70W RMS 4.2.2-channel speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos, 360 Audio, and Q-Symphony. The TV is also equipped with both far-field and near-field microphones, as well as an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustments.

Smart Features with Long-Term Support

Running on Tizen OS, the Micro RGB TV will receive up to seven major system updates during its supported lifecycle. It includes features such as Art Mode, SmartThings integration, AI Search, and real-time translation.
