JH Han said the world is complex and rapidly changing, and people may face uncertainty in the global economy. Despite these challenges, Samsung plans to bring more valuable and eco-conscious products through its innovative technologies. Samsung is focusing on creating and recognizing sustainable innovation as a fundamental corporate value. For CES 2023, Samsung's theme will be "Bringing Calm to Our Connected World".

Samsung is launching a new, expanded SmartThings experience that integrates more seamlessly and securely with the smart home. The company said it is also exploring easier and more secure ways to add new products to the smart home. Samsung will also offer its users a more customized experience thanks to its AI technology that learns from usage patterns.

Samsung is making more efforts to bring positive change to the environment through its innovative technologies, such as using discarded fishing nets to make some parts of its devices. Samsung has also introduced ultra-low power semiconductors and energy-efficient products.

Samsung is working with the Asian Coalition for Clean Energy (ACEC) and various NGOs to expand the use of renewable energy at all of its manufacturing plants in Asia. Samsung is also joining the SCC (Semiconductor Climate Coalition) as a founding member at the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference in November 2022, where it plans to reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions and support green technology startups.
