Nintendo has cut the price of the basic Switch console in the UK and Europe and is now available in the UK for £259.99 on the My Nintendo Store. The price cut is likely to pave the way for Switch OLED, which will go on sale on October 8.
The basic Switch console in the UK will cost £259.99, down from £279.99, while the base Switch in the rest of Europe will cost €269.99, down from €329.99.
The price cut does not affect the Switch Lite price (£199.99 / €200), and is only available in the UK and Europe, with official information on whether other regions will follow suit.
