On December 20, 2019, Netflix released the long-awaited The Witcher Season 1. All eight episodes of the first season were released at once, to the delight of the eagerly awaited audience.

The Witcher has been in production for nearly two and a half years, since Netflix officially announced The Witcher in May 2017. The show is said to be planned for a total of seven seasons, and judging from the content of the first season, the whole story is just the beginning.

During The production of "The Witcher", every little bit of the drama has become a hot topic among fans. From "script story", "characters", "cast", "live trivia" and "launch date", fans of books, games and TV series have strong expectations.

The Witcher Season 1

"The Witcher" tells its story in a similar POV way to "Game of Thrones", constantly switching back and forth between the three main characters. Audiences will generally be familiar with this approach and will not find it difficult to understand. The disadvantage of editing is that a story is cut to another protagonist before it is finished. "The Witcher" wants to take the approach of "Dunkirk" and cut together stories of different lengths of time. It is ambitious, but the actual effect is not recognized.

After The hit of The Witcher, the original novel topped amazon and the number of online game series reached a new high.

The Witcher's biggest failure is its casting. The politically correct casting ends up making the whole upheaval look wrong to the audience. Political correctness itself is not correct, and to change the characters' attributes for political correctness is a disrespect to the series.
