Insiders have revealed that Apple TV 4k is ready to hit the market. The new Apple TV 4K will come with an A12X chip and up to 128GB of storage.

The fifth generation of Apple TV 4K, with its A10X chip, was released in September 2017, after rumors of a hardware upgrade had been circulating for some time.

Jon Prosser, who has accurately leaked details of Apple and other manufacturers' products in the past, claims that the new Apple TV 4K with the A12X chip, code-named "Neptune T1125," is "ready to ship."

The A12X is a system chip apple developed for the iPad Pro in 2018, and in a demo at the time, apple claimed the A12X was comparable to the Xbox One S in graphics performance. The 2020 iPad Pro USES an upgraded version of the A12Z.

Jon Prosser also said the new Apple TV 4K would have the same design and storage capacity of 64GB or 128GB, double the current Apple TV 4K, with more storage space allowing users to install more games from the Apple Arcade and app store.

References found in the leaked version of tvOS 14 also indicate that apple is planning a new remote control, fitness app, and an expanded AirPlay 2 feature that will allow you to set an AirPlay 2 device (like HomePod) to be a long-term TV speaker, as well as rumors that apple is designing its own game controller.
