Henry James pioneered the psychoanalytic novel.
The inner world of his characters appears like a maze,
The complex structure of the manor is also the portrayal of the inner world of the characters.

If the west side of the manor represents the sunny side of the inner world of the characters, the east side represents the dark side of the inner world of the characters.
The mother of the teacher had the ability to predict the future, and before the teacher came to see her,
Her mother knew that the mistress would come to see her, and gave her the picture she had drawn.
The woman's mother later sent her an abstract painting in which she predicted that the woman would try to escape with the two children in her car.
After the female teacher enters the manor, slowly saw the manor two ghosts.
A male ghost, Qunit, is a former tutor to the boy Miles,

As time goes on, the female teacher learns that the evil quentin raped jesser,
And eventually killed and mummified at the bottom of the lake.
The evil quint also turns the once polite miles into a rebellious teenager.
There is no detailed account of how quint was killed and turned into a ghost.
But from the certainty of quint's death,
It can be learned that quint was probably killed because Mrs. Gross didn't like the way quint had brought the polite miles up to be a bad boy.
At the end of the film, quint, the ghost, must push Mrs. Gross down the stairs to her death and take revenge.
Many viewers were not satisfied with the end of the film.
The end of the film can be arranged by the director. The abrupt end of the film is like a screwing up to a certain point.
The film has an open ending. But one thing was certain: the mistress could not escape from the manor. The whole manor was like a black hole.
The lady teacher will die in the manor, the soul can not escape the gate of the manor. At this point, she's mother as early as the pool wall painting and prophecy.
The horror is much stronger than Annabel 3.
The film also USES multiple dreams to bring the audience a sense of terror with layers.
I recommend this film to audiences who like thriller and suspense movies.
