How do I install the ElectraTV app on Apple TV
This process depends on whether you're an Apple TV 4 or Apple TV 4K user, and unfortunately, it's faster on older devices. Please follow the section applicable to your equipment.
Apple TV 4 users
All you need to do is download the latest version of Electra for tvOS 11.2-11.3 from the official website, connect your laptop to Apple TV 4 via usb-c, and load the application using Cydia Impactor. It runs on Mac, Windows and Linux, and is very easy. For more details, follow steps 1-6 of this similar guide and replace any reference to LiberTV with the ElectraTV app.

Apple TV 4K users
Due to the lack of ports in Apple TV 4K, your aggressive boundaries will need to be more involved, and unfortunately, access to the Mac is required to continue. If you don't have one, I suggest you consult a friend or install macOS in a virtual machine on an existing laptop.
If you've already signed the application and sidloaded it into Apple TV 4K and know how to do it successfully, do it now, then click here to skip to the next section.

How to jailbreak using the ElectraTV app
It's easy. To use the Apple TV or Apple TV 4K Electra for tvOS app, simply:
1) launch the ElectraTV application from the home screen.
2) click the "jailbreak" button for it to perform the operation. It is very reliable, but if it fails, simply restart and try again.
Notice the "set now" button? You won't need it today, but it may allow you to migrate to unsigned firmware using futurerestore if you've already saved/started saving the blob.
3) after successfully jailbreaking, you will see the following popup window:
Your SSH is running!
This means that you must change the root password immediately.
4) your Apple TV will now play again. After that, you should find the nitoTV application on the home screen, which is tvOS's Cydia. You are now free to use SSH, install unsigned applications, and install all adjustments on nitoTV.
If you have a free Apple account, you must reload ElectraTV every 7 days. If you have a paid account, it will last for one year.
On Apple TV 4, it's as simple as using Cydia Impactor again.
Apple TV on 4K, if at the end of the year to keep your signatory program steps 5) part of how to sign apps in our link guide, you just need to use the iOS app signer again. This time, select the "re-sign only" option under Provisioning Profile in iOS App Signer. Then use Xcode to push it to the device (follow the link guide on how to side-load the application).
