Vizio TV No Signal, how to fix it?


My Vizio TV has shown "No Signal" on any input I switch to since a firmware update.

if i switch to input 2: no signal i switch to input 1: no signal

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?


Sometimes a "No Signal" error message can be the result of a faulty HDMI port. Some HDMI ports on the side of Vizio TVs can be damaged by wear and tear. You can unplug the HDMI cable and reconnect it to another port. See if that solves the problem.


Or you can try to reset your Vizio TV:

  • Turn off any HDMI devices connected to the Vizio TV.
  • After turning off the device, make sure to disconnect all HDMI cables as well.
  • Unplug your Vizio TV and turn off the surge protector.
  • Press and hold the power button on your Vizio TV for 30 seconds.
  • Once this is done, reconnect the HDMI devices by plugging them into their respective ports using the HDMI cable.
  • Reconnect your Vizio TV to an electrical outlet and turn on the TV to complete the reset process.
