Although $699 is reasonable, it contradicts XSS. Losing money selling the host must be in order to increase sales and quickly reduce prices. XSX as the main force of promotion, there is no need to issue another XSS. You can probably guess the cost of the XSX from the PS5, which is $500, and the XSX, which is at least $700.
If it was $599, Microsoft would have announced it long ago. Why did they hide it for so long? Microsoft is not waiting for SONY to announce the price, because the XSX will be more than 100 more expensive than the PS5 no matter how much it loses.
