Is a screenless TV a smart TV? This problem plagues most TV users. Screenless TV is also a new term that has been developed in the past year or two. Many people think that screenless TV is smart, so screenless TV is a smart TV. Is that right?

Is a screenless TV a smart TV?

Screenless TV is to uses projection technology to put the picture on any white wall or other similar screen carriers, to get rid of the limitations of traditional LCD TVs on LCD screens. And the screen size can be adjusted freely, and it is very portable to move. Only a projector with a TV receiver and an Android smart solution can be called a smart projection TV or a screenless super TV. To put it bluntly, a screenless TV is a smart projector, but not a smart TV!

The difference between a screenless TV and a smart TV

Is there any difference between a screenless TV and a smart TV besides whether there is a screen? The size of the smart TV is fixed, and you need to choose according to your needs, while the screenless TV is very convenient to adjust the viewing size according to your own preferences. This is also the most intuitive.

First of all, compared to traditional TVs, screenless TVs are more space-saving at home. For many people, the size of their home space is the main factor limiting them, and a space-saving TV is undoubtedly a better choice。

Secondly, the screen size of the screenless TV is adjustable, which is more flexible than the fixed size of the screen TV. Because sometimes we need to adjust different sizes according to different environments, and screenless TVs can adapt to different environments well.

Even if screenless TVs use projection methods, today's projection technology has made projection TVs on par with most LCD smart TVs, and more importantly, the artificial intelligence functions of screenless TVs are very attractive.

Smart projector vs. large-screen TV: Pros and Cons

First of all, screenless TVs can help consumers get rid of the size limitations of TV screens. While ensuring better picture effects in certain environments, the screen size should be increased as much as possible to provide consumers with cinema-level super-large screen enjoyment. Objectively speaking, the current screenless TVs and physical large-screen TVs are both competitive and complementary. For consumers, they can choose according to their needs.

Of course, screenless TV also has its shortcomings. The biggest problem at present is the brightness. With the increase of the projection size, the average brightness of the projection screen will inevitably be attenuated, and it will appear blurry when viewed during the day. This puts forward higher requirements on the ambient light for viewing movies, requiring consumers to draw up the curtains to create a darker environment as much as possible to obtain a better visual experience.

While at this point, the physical large-screen smart TV has an absolute advantage because of its fixed size and fixed brightness, so it can be watched all day long.
