What is Don't look up a metaphor for?

Don't look up is a black comedy that does not lose its serious quality.

  • The coming of the comet.
  • Experts warn the public.
  • Media jokes amuse.
  • Politicians gag, politicians gag, politicians gag.
  • The president is full of career, the president is full of career.
  • Businessmen are full of profit.
What's so terrible about this film is that,

Everyone knows it's a comedy, but the news sequences that appear in the film are basically happening right now, except for the comet thing: the

Political in-rolls, sex scandals, shifting conflicts, traffic supremacy, intelligent surveillance, etc...

The actors are also exaggerating the performance with great effort.

But while watching, it was not as funny as I thought it would be.

In the depths of the heart, as if a voice is saying, it is not impossible to really happen.

There is a quote at the beginning of the movie

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers

This quote is actually from the American humorist Will Rogers, who was widely loved by the American people in the 1920s and 1930s for his simple philosophical ideas and for exposing the darkness of politics.
