It is rumored that Microsoft will launch the second and more affordable next-generation Xbox game console this month. Now it looks like it will definitely be called Xbox Series S, because the packaging photos of the next-generation Xbox controller have already mentioned the Xbox Series S. Instagram user Zak got this handle today and confirmed that it is from Microsoft.

This new control handle was sold on a second-hand website today, and the side of the package indicates that this handle can be used with Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S game consoles. Microsoft has not officially launched the Xbox Series S, and the company has not even confirmed the existence of the white Xbox Series X control handle.

Last month, a mysterious white Xbox Series X control handle appeared on the Internet, equipped with a new D-pad, trigger and a new sharing button. The new leak matches the previous control handle leak, and leaks in retail packaging indicate that these devices may soon be in stores.

Xbox Series S is likely to be Microsoft's second cheaper next-generation Xbox, developed code-named Lockhart. A Microsoft document first leaked in June clarified the company's plans for two next-generation game consoles. Microsoft's Xbox Series X Devkit, code-named "Dante", allows game developers to enable a special Lockhart mode whose performance profile is what Microsoft hopes to achieve with this second game console.
