But as a whole, it's basically the same as its predecessor, with no upgrades to brightness, SOC, memory, ports, etc.
Sony X85L with also c uses integrated X1 algorithm, no XR chip. Therefore, it can be expected that it will have 4K 120Hz signal blurring problem. And the function of smoothing gradient color gradation is also not available.
It is worth mentioning that the 2023 Sony X90L has 98 inches and the price is estimated to be about $6000.
As for sound, the Sony X95L has a new Acoustic Multi-Audio+speaker effect. It vibrates through the metal bezel to make sound, a technology originally used only on 8K TVs.

Sony X80L this TV still uses BOE 60Hz IPS hard screen. Its brightness is not high, only 500 nits, and is directly LED backlight, without light control partition. Hard screen without light control partitioning, the contrast will be lower. But, after all, the price is cheap. In general, 2023 Sony X80L and last year's Soony X80K compared to last year, there is nothing to upgrade.
2023 Sony X85L
2023 Sony X85L TV is worth getting your attention. Why? Because the previous X85 never had a light control partition, now it does, and it's a soft screen that will have a higher contrast ratio. But as a whole, it's basically the same as its predecessor, with no upgrades to brightness, SOC, memory, ports, etc.
2023 Sony X90L
The 2023 Sony X90L model still has the normal direct backlight with light control zones. Compared to last year's X90K, it mainly improves the number of light control zones and peak brightness. As a result, the Sony X90L will have a higher contrast ratio and better HDR effect. As for other hardware levels, it improves nothing.2023 Sony X95L
The Sony X95L has its own camera, which is good news for those who need to take videos on TV. Sony X95L has the same chip and Mini LED backlight as last year's X95K, but with an improved number of light control zones and peak brightness. It has increased the number of partitions from a few hundred to more than a thousand, and the peak brightness from less than a thousand and a half to two thousand nits, which is also to further improve the contrast and enhance the HDR effect. As for sound, the Sony X95L has a new Acoustic Multi-Audio+speaker effect. However, Sony A95L is an OLED TV after all. It also has the risk of screen burn-in and ABL automatic brightness limitation if used at high intensity. It should be emphasized that in the 2023 Sony TV lineup, only the Sony A95L is powered by MediaTek's new chip Pentonic 1000, which has better performance than the MT 5895.
