A supposedly canceled demo video of Prince of Persia's new movie has been found on youtube. It was uploaded to youtube in 2012, but was not discovered until recently. The game is called Prince of Persia Redemption, and the demo features an already well-developed combat system and game scenes, produced by ubisoft Montreal.
The video may have been discovered by ubisoft staff, according to an inquiry on the resetera forum. Two years ago there was a comment from a ubisoft developer who was surprised that someone got hold of the demo and uploaded it to youtube.
Separately, a linkedin page for a ubisoft developer featured a description of "Prince of Persia has canceled an untitled game," showing that the game was launched on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Perhaps the game is Prince of Persia Redemption, which was uploaded to youtube.
