Samsung's 4K QLED 2020 TV models are now available in various markets. The official specifications for these models are quite detailed, but samsung was unable to specify the exact HDMI features. In other words, it's unclear whether samsung's 4K QLED 2020 TV will feature HDMI 2.1. Only recently did samsung confirm to foreign media company FlatspanelHD that its 4K QLED 2020 TV lineup does support HDMI 2.1.

According to samsung, all of its 4K QLED 2020 models, including Q60T, Q70T, Q80T, Q90T and Q95T, have HDMI 2.1 capabilities. It's important to note that while all of these models have four HDMI output ports (except Q60T), only one of these ports has HDMI 2.1 specifications.

The good news is that when connecting to upcoming Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles, the included HDMI 2.1 port will allow customers to benefit from features such as 120Hz 4K games (delivered in transfer mode FRL).

But the IT house cautions that not all of these models make full use of the HDMI 2.1 port. According to the source, the Q60T and the smaller 49-inch Q80T models do not offer 4K 120Hz capabilities transmitted over the FRL.

Meanwhile, samsung's 8K QLED TV models (including Q800T, Q900TS and Q950TS) support HDMI 2.1 and 4K 120Hz FRL transmission.
