Anbernic has unveiled its latest gaming handheld device, the RG556, boasting a 5.48-inch AMOLED display and Hall-effect joysticks, priced at USD 174.99 and set to begin shipping in March.
According to the official specifications, the Anbernic handheld is designed for playing "PS2 emulators and Android games." The device features a 5.48-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by the Purple Light Display Sharp T820 chip, equipped with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, a 5500mAh battery, and weighs 331 grams, with dimensions measuring 223 x 90 x 15 millimeters.
Furthermore, this handheld device comes with Hall-effect joysticks, six-axis gyroscopes, and is available in black and translucent blue color options. It also includes a "full-featured" USB-C port for connectivity.
