Yesterday, Apple held WWDC for global developers, bringing design upgrade macOS Big Sur, watchOS 7, iOS 14, Apple TVOS with App Library and iPadOS with enhanced Apple Pencil handwriting 14. Apple also added AirPods healthy charging mode in iOS 14, which charges to 80% by default, and automatically learns the user's daily charging mode to slow down battery aging.

In order to slow down the battery aging, AirPods will learn your daily charging mode and suspend charging to more than 80% until you need it.

At present, Apple has brought similar battery health optimization systems to both iPhone and Mac to extend the total battery life of the device and protect battery health. Apple added optimized battery charging in iOS 13 and added similar features in macOS Catalina 10.15.5.
On WWDC20, Apple also announced new features for AirPods headsets, including automatic switching between iPhone, iPad and Mac devices, and the "spatial audio" feature of AirPods Pro headsets.
