When it was announced in early May, Call of the Sea immediately tickled our retinas because of its flamboyant artistic direction. The game of Out of the Blue published by Raw Fury will land in the Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release at the end of 2020. The title will offer the player to experience the emotional journey of a woman to discover herself through puzzles to solve on a strange paradise island.

Call of The Sea 100% optimized for Xbox Series X

It was Manuel Fernández, co-founder and programmer studio Out of the Blue has made some technical details on what we can expect from Call of the Sea on Xbox X Series . We already knew that the game would be offered in 4K definition and HDR but the developer also confirms that the game will run at 60 frames per second with Raytracing!

We want our game to be as beautiful as possible. Our unique artistic direction in no way prevents it from giving it the attire of the new generation, particularly in terms of visual effects and fluidity of action. Thanks to DirectX Raytracing, the island is growing, it's as if it came to life. Players will explore the beautiful surroundings of the island in 4K, which will only enhance the experience and immersion. This unprecedented power eliminates the need to compromise between the number of frames per second and the resolution. To sum up, the Xbox Series X is the best of both worlds!

The developer explains that development tools are obviously very important to move forward. The game uses the Unreal Engine and Manuel Fernández says that “Microsoft and Epic Games are trying to provide the right tools for developers, which really makes their job easier. " . Remember that the game will also be compatible with Xbox Smart Delivery .

Another game that I will try with the Game Pass. The DA is superb, if not the side where we embody an animal it also reminds me of the excellent Edith Finch, otherwise it also reminds The Witness.
