Valerion Announces VisionMaster Pro 2 Triple Laser Smart Projector After $10M Crowdfunding Success

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised over $10 million, Valerion has officially announced the consumer market launch of its highly anticipated VisionMaster Pro 2 Triple Laser Smart Projector. As a sister company to AWOL Vision, Valerion is making its mark with the VisionMaster series, which first debuted at IFA 2024 and gained further attention at CES 2025 after a successful Kickstarter campaign last October.

The VisionMaster Pro 2 comes preloaded with Google TV, aiming to deliver an exceptional streaming entertainment experience.

Design and Features

The VisionMaster Pro 2 bears a strong resemblance to the flagship VisionMaster Max but lacks dynamic iris and lens shift features. Additionally, while the Max model offers interchangeable lenses, Valerion has not confirmed this capability for the Pro 2, suggesting it may not support this feature.

Impressive Specifications

Despite these omissions, the VisionMaster Pro 2 boasts impressive specs. It features an RGB triple laser light source capable of outputting up to 3000 ISO lumens. Valerion claims the projector can "produce over 1 billion colors," covering 110% of the Rec.2020 color gamut with a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 (native contrast of 4,000:1).

The projector engine delivers 4K UHD visuals on screen sizes ranging from 40 to 300 inches, supporting Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG formats. It also integrates IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode for a more professional viewing experience. A special algorithm enhances black tones frame by frame, further improving image quality.

Advanced Calibration and Connectivity

For those seeking the best image quality, the VisionMaster Pro 2 includes calibration tools like a color tuner and white balance adjustment. AI super-resolution technology ensures content clarity, while features like auto tilt, keystone correction, and digital zoom correction make it easy to adjust the projection.

In terms of connectivity, the projector supports Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.2 for stable wireless connections. Google TV integration allows direct access to streaming platforms like Netflix via the remote. It also supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Miracast for screen mirroring and is compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa.

For online stability and gaming, the VisionMaster Pro 2 includes a wired Ethernet LAN connection and two HDMI 2.1 ports with low input lag. An HDMI 2.0 port with eARC support is available for connecting to soundbars or home theater audio setups. Two 12W speakers provide high-quality soundtracks, enhanced by Dolby and DTS:X audio technologies for an immersive experience.
