The share of DLP projection technology in the smart projection market has been declining for the past 6 quarters. In the first half of 2022, the DLP share was only 34%, down 8% from the same period.

DLP projection display is a technology that covers from the lightest mobile products to the most massive high-brightness engineering machines and digital cinema projectors - it can be said that the upper limit of the effect that the product technology can achieve is "truly leading" in various projection light valve products .

In the first half of the year, the share of products with more than 1,000 lumens reached 23%, an increase of about 7 percentage points over the same period last year. Almost all thousand-lumen products come from the contribution of the DLP camp. That is to say, in terms of high-end, high-brightness, 4K, etc., and new light sources such as tri-color lasers, the advantages and strong market segments of DLP display technology have not shrunk with the competition of monolithic LCDs, but have expanded.

Although single-chip LCD projector products have not been able to compete directly with DLP products in terms of brightness and other performance, they have established absolute competitiveness in the sinking market through their low price advantage. Moreover, the single-chip LCD projector has formed a certain market-side brand value. In particular, through leading brands to bid farewell to the low quality of traditional single-chip LCD projection, it has achieved a certain degree of reshaping of industry rules and industry image, laying the foundation for the further development of the single-chip LCD product line.
