Dreame to Launch Its First High-End TV at IFA 2025: Powered by AI Picture Chip

Dreame, best known for its smart home and cleaning appliances, is preparing to unveil its first high-end television at the upcoming IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin this September.

Advanced Display Technology

The company’s debut TV will feature a custom “Black Crystal Display” paired with a dedicated AI picture-processing chip. According to Dreame, the backlight system combines the strengths of QLED and Mini LED technology, delivering picture quality comparable to OLED displays, while offering significantly higher brightness and longer lifespan.

A Clean, Ad-Free Experience

One of the most striking features of Dreame’s upcoming TV is its commitment to a “zero-interference” user experience. The device will completely eliminate startup ads and will not force users to purchase memberships to unlock core functions. Instead, Dreame plans to rely on technology-driven value rather than ad revenue, positioning its TV firmly in the premium category.

This approach stands in sharp contrast to the broader smart TV industry, where over 92% of brands insert mandatory 15–30 second startup ads—with some stretching to a full minute. While this “low hardware margin + high ad subsidy” model has become the industry norm, it has also drawn widespread criticism from consumers who value convenience and a seamless experience.

“Eliminating startup ads is not about breaking industry rules—it’s about respecting the baseline of user experience,” a Dreame Smart Display executive explained. “We believe that true premium TVs should not interrupt or disturb the viewer. Our AI picture-processing chip optimizes each frame in real time, while the 4K 144Hz refresh rate delivers ultra-smooth performance for movies, sports, and gaming.”

Ecosystem Expansion at IFA

Dreame’s first television will officially debut at the IFA 2025 consumer electronics show in Berlin this September. Alongside the TV, the company is also expected to showcase new monitors, smart projectors, and other audio-visual ecosystem products, signaling a broader push into the home entertainment market.
