At the end of last year, streaming service provider Tidal announced support for Dolby Atmos Music, but only for smartphones and tablets using Android systems. Recently, Tidal and Dolby jointly announced that Tidal’s Hi-Fi subscribers can stream Dolby Atmos Music to home theater systems via Apple TV 4K, Fire TV Stick, NVIDIA Shield TV and other compatible devices. Sony and Philips Android-based smart TVs with Dolby Atmos support can run directly on the TV, while transmitting audio to the AV amplifier and Soundbar via HDMI eARC. What's more convenient is that the Tidal application will automatically recognize and output, the user has nothing more than to make additional settings.

Tidal's existing Dolby Atmos Music already has a relatively rich music library, including a variety of artists and genres, and allows you to build your own Dolby Atmos Music playlists. New users enjoy a 60-day free trial.

The list of products announced by Tidal includes: Apple TV 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick second generation, Fire TV third generation, NVIDIA SHIELD TV and NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro (2019 or newer models). After running the Tidal application on the above devices, Hi-Fi subscribers can stream Dolby Atmos Music data to AV amplifiers, TVs and Soundbars.
