Ghostrunner, a new action project by One More Level, 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks, will be released for a limited time today as a PC demo, allowing players to experience walking through tall buildings.
Ghostrunner is a cybopunk-style action game in which players take on the role of warriors who can walk between tall buildings to launch a rebellion. Set in the future after the global cataclysm, the surviving humans live in a tower built by an architect who mysteriously died years ago. Everyone knows the truth, but nobody says it out loud.
The world, dominated by Keymasters, is in a grim state, where a person's value depends on what they are fed, and will determine their life. A person is implanted with different kinds of content at an early age, which will determine which social group he belongs to and his inability to fight for a good life. The rebellion begins, and the player will join a resistance group called Climbers and take on a mission to break through the key.
