Tidal is a subscription-based music streaming service that combines lossless audio and high-definition music videos with special features for exclusive content and music.

The application includes the following features:

Integrate with your Tidal account - you can easily access all your personalized favorites and playlists created through the Apple TV app.

Optimized for TV -- the developers designed Tidal for Apple TV to provide the best experience on big-screen devices like Apple TV. The content is easy to find and the big screen hd video looks incredible.

High definition music video - watch more than 130,000 music videos. No advertising. There are no blurry images. Just a clear picture.

HiFi audio - the same uncompromising HiFi audio experience that can take full advantage of your personal home theater.

The new Apple TV app comes with an update to Tidal's existing iPhone and iPad music streaming client, which was recently updated to support CarPlay and iPhone X and is now compatible with the fourth and fifth generation Apple TV.

The Verge says Tidal will launch an app for Android TV later today.

Tidal is priced at $9.99 a month for standard sound quality and $19.99 a month for undamaged streaming. Other levels are also available, such as family and student accounts.

Both the standard and advanced levels include high-definition music videos.

After losing about $44 million last year, Tidal's cash will last only six months, according to a recent report. Jay-z and the other Tidal co-owners apparently lost more than $500 million in total.
