Solutions to no sound on Philips TV
No sound on Philips TVs can be caused by the following two settings.
1. TV SPEAKERS is turned off in the TV menu.
2. TV is set to SPEAKERS EASYLINK mode in the TV SPEAKERS menu. In this mode, the TV speakers are automatically muted.
In both cases, do the following:
1. Press the "MENU" button on the remote control to enter the main menu.
2. Select TV SETTINGS and press the cursor to the right.
3) Press the cursor down to select SOUND and press the cursor to the right.
4. Press the cursor down to select TV SPEAKERS and press the cursor to the right.
5. Select the setting according to the connection you want to use.
You can then select ON and the TV speakers will turn on. Or, you can select SPEAKERS EASYLINK and the TV will automatically switch to play audio from the
HDMI connected device, supporting system audio control.
