LG is about to release a new generation of OLED TVs, and its German official website has updated some parameter information. According to reports, LG G3 uses Brightness Booster Max technology, so the screen brightness will increase by 70%, and the peak brightness will be higher.

Why the LG G3 is much brighter?

LG says it's a new "light control architecture" that incorporates a new light enhancement algorithm that makes the G3 with Brightness Booster Max "70 percent brighter than regular OLEDs, and it's available in 55-, 65- and 77-inch sizes. The G3's peak brightness will be in the 1800-nit range and may be slightly brighter in the Vivid setting. Its Vivid mode is up to 2100 nits, with a full-screen brightness of 235 nits. The G2, by comparison, has a peak brightness of 930 nits and a full-screen brightness of 166 nits.
