LG C9 and Sony A9 OLED TVs are the most popular OLED models in 2020. To help consumers understand the current audio and video quality performance of the top OLED TV products by comparing the latest flagship models of the two brands, and how to choose when you decide to buy an OLED TV. In this test part of the instrument, we used Spyder X Red Spider to perform LG C9 and Sony A9 OLED TV screen performance testing. The core indicators are still the measured values of the color gamut and the measured accuracy of color restoration accuracy.

The color gamut value expresses the number of colors that the TV panel can express (that is, the ratio between the color area that can be covered and the standard area in a color space standard). The measured results show that the NTSC color gamut value of LG C9 is 88 % , the NTSC color gamut value of Sony A9 is 87% .

The accuracy of color reproduction expresses the deviation between the actual displayed color condition and the original color condition after the TV manufacturer adjusts the display panel. The test result is expressed by the Delta E value. The smaller the value, the more accurate the color reproduction of the screen. The higher. The actual measurement results show that the LG C9's color reproduction accuracy Delta E is 1.51, and the Sony A9's color reproduction accuracy Delta E is 1.63.

Both the LG C9 and the Sony A9 are listed in 2019, and are their respective flagship OLED models with the same size of 65 inches.
