LG plans to introduce transparent OLED technology to European and American markets

Compared with the overall OLED market, the transparent OLED market is still very small. The overall OLED market this year is expected to reach 41.7 billion U.S. dollars, with smartphones accounting for 32.7 billion U.S. dollars and TVs accounting for 4.2 billion U.S. dollars.

According to media reports, Cao Zhouwan, vice president of LG Display, has recently visited overseas frequently on business trips. It is reported that he is pushing the company's T-OLED (transparent organic light emitting semiconductor) technology to Europe and the United States.

Still running a transparent OLED panel of theirs daily and it's held up fine, though ours is a commercial install, not consumer pricing. The tech works, the price is what keeps it niche.
