1. Connection and input

For no sound on TV or audio distortion on TV, it can usually be caused by software. However, input and cable connections can also be faulty. Therefore, make sure that all cables are firmly installed on the TV. Cables include component cables, HDMI cables and fiber optic cables.

Also, make sure you have selected the correct input on your TV or bar. In some cases, people have accidentally turned on the mute function, resulting in no sound.

2. Audio Setup

For people who cannot turn on sound after trying the cable and output, they need to switch to the audio settings. This usually happens when the TV is connected through an optical cable. In this case, you need to go to Settings via the remote control and select the Audio tab. On the other hand, if you are using an HDMI cable, you can go to Settings and open the Audio tab, click on Audio Mode and switch it to Stereo.

3. Cable

In some cases, the cable is broken or damaged, which can cause the problem of no sound. In this case, you should check the cable for physical and visible damage.

4. Audio format

If you are unable to listen to any audio or sound on your TV, it is likely that the TV does not support the audio format of the video. In this case, you need to use an HDMI cable and change the settings from HDMI to PCM-Stereo.

5. HDMI connection

If you are using an HDMI connection and it is faulty, there is a good chance that there is no audio or sound at all. In this case, you need to make sure that the HDMI cable is properly installed on the player and the TV. If you are using a short HDMI cable, it is recommended to use an extension cable. Again, you need to use the connector in the correct port.
