Nifty Gateway, a leading marketplace in the NFT space, announced an agreement with South Korean technology giant Samsung to develop the world's first smart TV NFT platform for discovering, buying and trading digital collectibles.

This groundbreaking partnership uses Nifty Gateway's wallet hosting solution, which protects users' valuables without requiring them to store their digital assets in an external wallet. In addition, it allows users to purchase digital collectibles using credit cards, debit cards or passes.

Samsung said in the first week of January that it would enter the NFT market and integrate these digital assets into the company's TV devices.

Samsung did not disclose too much information at the time, only that it would launch its first line of smart TVs with NFT capabilities.

Currently, Nifty Gateway is integrated into Samsung's NFT platform for its high-end TV lineup in 2022, including QLED and Neo QLED TVs.

Nifty also offers a separate app for Samsung's Micro LED and The Frame TVs, according to an official Samsung news release.

By combining the technologies of these two companies, users can explore, display and interact with NFT-related activities from the comfort of their homes.

In addition, users can access more than 6,000 artworks by new and established artists, such as Beeple, Pak and Daniel Arsham, among other famous artists.
