The Sony X900H is a quasi-high-end model with a peak brightness of around 900 nits and a checkerboard-style light control zone. The Sony X85J has a peak brightness of 600 nits and no light control partition. The high peak brightness and light control partition can improve the contrast of the picture and achieve better HDR picture effect.

Sony X85J picture quality chip is the same as 900H, integrated chip, but not on the independent checkerboard type light control partition technology, so whether the picture detail performance or screen bright singing dark field performance is not as good as sony 900H models.
