Compact OLED Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate

The Xperia 10 VII features a 6.1-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 × 2340 (FHD+) and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Users can switch between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates, providing smooth visuals for gaming and everyday use. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the display is built to withstand scratches and accidental drops.

Sony offers the device in three finishes: turquoise, white, and charcoal black.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Performance

Under the hood, the Xperia 10 VII runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS storage. A microSD card slot is available for storage expansion, catering to users who need extra space for media and apps.

Benchmarks suggest that the new chipset delivers up to 8% better single-core performance and a significant 58% GPU uplift compared to its predecessor, thanks to the Adreno 710 GPU.

Camera System

On the back, Sony has redesigned the camera module in a horizontal layout, reminiscent of the first-generation Xperia 10. It houses a 50MP f/1.9 Exmor RS primary sensor (1/1.56”) and a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide lens (1/3”). For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP f/2.0 front camera.

Battery, Charging, and Build

The Xperia 10 VII packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for USB-PD fast charging via a USB-C 2.0 port (480 Mbps). Despite the large battery, the device remains lightweight at 168g.

Additional features include:

  • Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity
  • IP68 water and dust resistance
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Side-mounted fingerprint sensor
  • Dedicated camera shutter button

Availability

Sony has yet to confirm the official release date or pricing for the Xperia 10 VII. However, given its mid-range positioning, it is expected to compete with devices like the Moto G75 and Samsung Galaxy A36, likely in the $399–$499 range.
