Although the highlight of The Outpost movie is the battle of 53 U.S. troops against 400 Taliban at Keating Outpost on October 3, 2009, it mainly shows the daily life of first-line soldiers and subordinate officers, as well as the absurdity and overall style of the Afghan war. It is very realistic.

In the Afghan War, the infantry units have to do things from daily internal management, daily work to combat missions. The Outpost movie is basically presented in a more meticulous manner.

As a basic unit of the basic level, the condensed tuberculosis of the outpost to maintain the combat effectiveness and daily organization and management of the unit is not the captain commander or the lieutenant second, but the deputy platoon leader, squad leader, firepower of the 5 or 6 sergeant and sergeant level. These veterans are properly commanded, and the cohesion of the entire unit and the role of a combat team composed of veterans and soldiers are brought into play. In the battle, there is naturally luck of course.

The use of hand-held photography, the fear of hiding in the dark and the expansion based on the first perspective bring a good interactive effect. The gunfight was loud and tinnitus but also immersive enough. The heavy narrative and the scene/plot imbalance slightly affected the expression of the movie.
