The average cost to repair a TV is $207, with most repairs ranging from $60 to $350. Common TV fixes include replacing a motherboard or power supply for $250, bulb replacement for $88, HDMI port for $200, or backlight repair for $111.

The cost of flat-screen TV repair ranges from $42 to $359. You cannot fix a broken screen, but the price of a new flat-panel TV starts from around $249 for a 1080-mp (non-4K) LED TV from LG to as much as $14,999 for an 85-inch 8K LED TV from Samsung.

How to solve the comment problems of TV with lowest costs?

If your TV doesn't power on, try the following:

Plug - If the TV is not powering on and no status LEDs are lighting up, start by plugging the TV into a different outlet. If the TV is too challenging to move, you can run an extension cord from another nearby outlet.

Circuit breaker - Check the circuit breaker for the power outlet that the TV plugs into. You can check the breakers by opening the door to your breaker panel and looking for circuit breakers that are in the OFF position.

Power cable - Check the power cable. If it is a removable cable, you can test it by substituting a power cable from another piece of equipment in your home, or you can buy a replacement cable for this test. The cost for a replacement TV power cable ranges from $2.50 to $10.

Remote control - If the TV is not powering on with the remote control, you should try replacing the batteries. For remote controls with a status LED light, there could be enough power to light the LED but not enough power to send a signal to your TV.

If your TV turns off after a short time, check:

1. Does it overheating or burning inside? If so, you have to ask for repairment.
2. Does it go to sleep because of the sleep timer setting? If so, turn the setting off.

What if white display or other wrong display?
Problems such as ripples and dark lines appear on the LCD screen, mainly due to errors in the display. An error in the cable or driver IC connected to the LCD screen body will cause the display to be brightly lit. The dark line on the LCD display is a serious problem and has no maintenance value. A problem with the driving voltage will cause a flower screen or a white screen.

What should I do if there is a white screen on the LCD screen?
The white display is caused by a problem with the screen drive voltage. But if the screen drive circuit is on the motherboard, that is the reason for the motherboard. If the driving circuit is on the LCD screen, the screen replacement method is adopted due to the high maintenance risk.

If the screen has a color cast fault, it can be adjusted accordingly through the maintenance adjustment mode.

What should I do if the TV has no sound?

1. Be sure that the volume is up on input devices such as a DVD player or cable box.

2. Change the channel to be sure it is not just a problem with that channel.

3. Plug headphones into the headphone jack. If sound comes from the headphones plugged into the headphone jack, this indicates a problem with the TV speakers.

4. Make sure your audio cables are correctly attached. See if a new cable works.

If you want to repair your TV on your own, please cut off the power in case of being electrocuted. In fact, it can be complicated to determine which component of a TV is failing, it better to have the TV diagnosed by a professional repair technician.
