We often see TOF focus technology in projectors, it can achieve automatic focus without the help of reference images. So what is TOF technology anyway?
What is TOF non-sensitive focus?
Focusing is to adjust the sharpness of the picture by adjusting the distance between the lens and the photosensitive components in the light path of the projector. Manual focusing is to focus by manually adjusting the focusing ring, while TOF non-sensitive autofocusing is to automatically adjust the lens focusing through the TOF laser lens and the corresponding algorithm.
TOF (time-of-flight)non-sensitive autofocus is by TOF sensor to detect the projection distance and automatic focus technology, the measurement method of distance is made by TOF light corresponding to the plane of time to calculate the corresponding distance, no matter how, illustrating the characteristics can be precise distance measurement, but also to have certain measure range, that is no more than 3 meters.
After the projection distance is calculated, the sharpness of the picture is judged by the intelligent algorithm inside the projector, and then the internal light path is adjusted according to the situation until the picture is clear.
