German Teufel launched two products for the living room theater in the European market, namely Cinebar Ultima Soundbar and Cinedeck Soundbase, both of which are integrated in design. The Soundbar and Soundbase emphasize the built-in woofer (that is, no external active subwoofer is required), and can be combined with the optional surround speakers to form a true surround sound system.

At the same time, Teufel's Soundbar and Soundbase have HDMI ports (supporting ARC and HDCP 2.2), Bluetooth and optical digital and stereo analog inputs. There are side speaker units on the side of the cabinet that can be used for virtual surround sound processing.

So, what is the difference between Teufel's Soundbar and Soundbase?

Cinebar Ultima Soundbar

Cinebar Ultima Soundbar is recommended to be installed under the wall-mounted TV. It has four 3.5-inch full-range units and two elliptical woofer units, and is equipped with a front display to show the input source and volume. The Cinebar Ultima Soundbar is available in black and white for approximately 600 euro.

Cinedeck Soundbase

Cinedeck Soundbase can be used as a TV base, that is, a TV set on a desktop is placed on top of it. Due to the limited thickness of the fuselage, it is equipped with 7 small-caliber full-range units and 2 downward-projecting 5.25-inch woofer units. Cinedeck Soundbase is also available in black and white at about 550 euro.
