DuckTales Season 3, which also known as Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks! is a Dinsney Animation directed by Matthew Humphreys. The story is about Senior Junior Woodchuck. Ten years after the Cold War, Scrooge McDuck was reunited with his estranged nephew Donald Duck when he was asked to look after three nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. The newcomer reinvigorated Scrooge's sense of adventure, and he invited four people to live with him, the housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and her granddaughter Webby Vanderquack at McDuke Manor. Together, they participated in many new treasure hunt adventures and global travel adventures, while competing with villains such as Flintheart Glomgold, Beagle Boys and Mark Beaks.

Why reviews of DuckTales Season 3 appear to be polarized

In the first season, Dewey and Webby sought out the tension between Scrooge and Donald and the truth about the disappearance of the mother of the three ducklings, Della Duck, while the witch Magica De Spell manipulated the incident to promote her return and avenge Scrooge.

In the second season, Scrooge and Glomgold competed for the highest revenue in a year, the ownership of both companies was threatened, and Louie tried to start his own multi-million dollar business, hoping to follow in the footsteps of Scrooge. After escaping from the moon, Della also reunited with her family and adapted to her newly born mother, unaware that the "friends" she made on the moon were planning an alien invasion.

After the third season released on 4 April 2020 (USA), reviews of DuckTales Season 3 appear to be polarized Some audience commented on the DuckTales Season 3: just a waste of time, while others disagreed and called it"A predictable plot and subplot is lifted by great jokes and dialogue."
