The world is fighting the COVID- 19 pandemic and advises people to stay indoors to prevent its further spread. This is a good time for the OTT platform to do its best to provide new content and make the service more accessible. At the same time, Xiaomi, which also sells smart TVs, is also preparing to update its Mi TV series of TV programs, and the focus of this TV program is to make more content become the focus of attention.

The update will be utomatically downloaded to Mi TV models, and users need a Wi-Fi connection or a LAN connection (if supported) in order to install the update themselves.

As part of the update, Xiaomi has updated the UI. The home screen still looks the same, and there are still dark and bright modes.

However, the font has been updated to Mi Lanting Pro that we saw in MIUI 11. Xiaomi has also taken a big step towards horizontal scrolling, which makes it easy for viewer s to discover content. The animation has also been updated to focus more on the content.
