When users browse the Game Center in the PlayStation Store on PS5, if the selected game has an accessibility support label, the user can press the "triangle" button to see a list of accessibility features. These may include features such as visual and audio accessibility settings, DualSense controller options, difficulty settings, and online communications such as chat-to-text.

It is reported that the PlayStation Store on PS5 will provide accessibility tabs for PS5 and PS4 games. If both PS5 and PS4 platforms provide accessibility tabs, users can compare the differences between the two through the drop-down menu.

Game developers can choose from over 50 accessibility tags in six categories, such as:

  • Visual aids: easy-to-read text, large text, alternate colors, audio cues, and directional audio directions.
  • Sound Features: Volume Control, Mono, Screen Reader, and Alternative Visual Cues.
  • Caption Options: Includes Caption Size, Easy Captions, and Large Captions.
  • Control options: Including button remapping, joystick sensitivity, and options for no-button-hold, snap-press, or motion controls.
