Apple has recently announced that they will hold a new product launch event at 8:00 AM on October 31st (Beijing time), and 9to5Mac has summarized what Apple is expected to unveil at the event.

The M3 Chip

It's reported that Apple has been working on the basic version of the M3 chip, which features a 12-core CPU composed of six high-performance cores and six energy-efficient cores.

The M3 Pro chip, on the other hand, is set to come with a 14-core CPU - 10 high-performance cores and 4 energy-efficient cores, along with a 30-core GPU.

As for the M3 Max, there are reportedly multiple versions of this chip in testing. The highest-end variant boasts a 16-core CPU - 12 high-performance cores and 4 energy-efficient cores - and a 40-core GPU.

MacBook Pro/Air with the M3 Chip

Apple is expected to launch new MacBook Pro models, the 14-inch and 16-inch versions, which will be powered by the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. These models, codenamed J514 and J516, are rumored to feature a punch-hole screen design and may come equipped with the Magic Keyboard.

Apple might also update the MacBook Air, which is expected to come with the standard M3 chip, while potentially discontinuing the entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro/Air.

iMac with the M3 Chip

Apple's current 24-inch iMac uses the M1 processor. In the upcoming event, Apple is anticipated to introduce an updated 24-inch iMac powered by the M3 processor. This update will likely include additional color options for the series, and there may also be adjustments to the internal stand design.

A Series of USB-C Accessories

Apple will reportedly launch a range of accessories with USB-C interfaces, including the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard, along with the 24-inch iMac. However, it's currently unknown whether Apple will make any design changes to this series of accessories.

As the event approaches, Apple enthusiasts and tech enthusiasts alike are eager to see these new products. Stay tuned for the official announcement and detailed specifications from Apple on October 31st.
