System Experience

Setting up the projector was a mixed bag for me. I really wanted to mount it above my headboard to project onto the wall in front of my bed, but I ran into several roadblocks. The short cord made it tough to position it just right, and I quickly realized that I couldn't use command strips to mount it because of the base design. It also got pretty hot when I had it aimed directly upwards, which added to my frustration. Plus, the lack of preloaded apps like Netflix was a letdown since I was hoping for a more seamless experience.

Viewing Experience

The picture quality was honestly a highlight; it matched my expectations and looked great on the wall. I was impressed by how clear the image was, which made me optimistic about the overall experience. However, it was hard to fully enjoy the visuals with the sound issues I faced.

Other Experience

Unfortunately, my experience with audio was disappointing. I found the built-in speakers to be quite subpar, and the overall sound quality really dampened my excitement. I tried connecting my phone and exploring different options, but nothing seemed to work. I even struggled to get it to connect with my iPhone, despite numerous attempts with USB, WiFi, and HDMI. It just felt cumbersome and frustrating, and I ended up regretting my decision to purchase it.

Conclusion

Pros:
I have to give credit where it’s due: the picture quality was excellent. When it worked, the clarity was impressive, and I could see the potential for a great movie night. Plus, I appreciated that I could improve the sound by connecting an external speaker through the 3.5 mm jack, which made a noticeable difference when I finally got it set up.

Cons:
On the downside, the projector had several shortcomings that overshadowed its strengths. The sound was lacking, making it hard to enjoy anything without external speakers. The connectivity issues with both Android and iPhone were incredibly frustrating, and the limited HDMI input felt restrictive. Overall, it just didn’t meet my expectations, and I found it cumbersome to use.

Overall Evaluation:
Overall, I have to say I was disappointed with this projector. While the picture quality was solid, the audio issues, setup complications, and connectivity problems made it hard to recommend. It felt like a missed opportunity, and I ultimately decided to return it. I really wanted this to work out, but it just didn’t fit my needs.

The sound and where the cords are set up kinda suck, but if you hook up a Bluetooth speaker or use the 3.5 mm jack, it sounds way better! Totally recommend it—super fun!

Gave it a shot, but it just wasn’t our vibe. Too clunky and noisy. But hey, you get what you pay for, right? We returned it.

Audio and video are solid, but I couldn't get it to link to my phone or anything over WiFi. I did plug in a Roku, and it worked like a charm!

The video looks good, but the speakers are terrible! I can't use it unless I hook up some external speakers.

Hey, heads up! If you don’t have an iPhone, skip this projector. It won’t link up with Androids, Bluetooth, or soundbars. The sound is pretty awful on its own too. Plus, it only has one HDMI port and you can't download apps on it. Just a no-go for non-iPhone users!
