headset mic and external audio

hi guys, do yo know if it is possible to use the headset mic while getting the audio from the TV? I get tired of wearing the headphones. thanks for helping.

It won't work. You need to use something like a USB transmitter to wireless headphone to work. But both must be connected to work. I think the one I use is TurtleBeach 450 wireless where the USB plugs into the Dock to transmitted to the headset. No splitting of communication with the Switch.
