May 20 – Hisense Laser TV hosted an online launch event titled “Home Theater, Giant Screen Experience,” unveiling its latest product line: the Starlight S1 Series 2026. This laser TV series emphasizes eye protection and cinema-grade quality, featuring industry-leading zero harmful blue light technology and theater-grade imaging for an affordable premium viewing experience.
The Starlight S1 Series comes in three models: Pro, Standard, and Pure Edition, with screen sizes ranging from 80 to 120 inches to fit different budgets and spaces. All models feature a futuristic "Cosmic Orbit" design, with 13μm brushed metal finishes and 270° floating light effects for a sleek, artistic look. The 100-inch screen can be folded for easy delivery (packaging height: 5 feet), weighs 30% less than same-size LCD TVs, and has an ultra-slim 0.8-inch profile for seamless wall mounting—perfect for high-end interiors like marble or stone walls.
The flagship Starlight S1 Pro 2026 is equipped with an IMAX-grade MCL39 laser (custom-developed with Nichia, 4x brighter than standard consumer lasers) and SST architecture DMD chips (using 14.5° micromirror deflection for pixel-perfect lighting). It delivers 110% BT.2020 color gamut, eliminating halos in dark scenes while preserving detail. For eye care, it sets a new benchmark with zero harmful blue light, flicker, glare, reflection, or radiation.
Pricing (U.S. market estimates):
- 110-inch: ~$5,000
- 100-inch: ~$3,700
- 92-inch: ~$2,500
- 88-inch: ~$2,400
- 80-inch: ~$1,700
All models are Energy Star-rated, with potential subsidies up to $280. The Starlight S1 Standard and Pure Edition will launch in June.
