Debating between a soundbar like the Edifier B2/B2SW series and a full home theater speaker setup. Soundbars are more convenient, but can they deliver the same immersive sound experience?

Waiting for some reviews from audiophiles on the Edifier B2 and B2SW. While the price is attractive, sound quality is most important to me. How do these speakers stack up in terms of clarity and soundstage?
