Isolation feet keep turning up as factory fit - what is everyone hearing?

Audioholics have a piece on IsoAcoustics having their best year yet, with JBL, Raidho, Marten, LUMIN and EMM Labs among the brands building the isolation tech into products rather than leaving it as an aftermarket add on. The GAIA-TITAN Neo is apparently already going into flagship speakers ahead of a consumer release later this year.

I am somewhere between interested and unconvinced, and I think the honest answer depends entirely on your floor. On a suspended wooden floor, a big cabinet spiked straight into the joists turns the floor itself into a radiator, and everything downstairs hears it too. Decoupling there is not subtle and you do not need golden ears to notice the midbass tighten up. On a concrete slab the mechanism you are supposedly fixing barely exists, and I would want to see a before and after measurement before spending real money.

What I would push back on is treating OEM adoption as evidence. A speaker brand fitting these at the factory tells you the two companies agreed on terms and that it looks good on a spec sheet. It does not tell you the effect is audible at your listening position, and there is a long history in this hobby of things being fitted as standard because they photograph well.

So, concrete answers wanted: anyone measured a room before and after fitting these, on either floor type? Impressions are easy to come by, plots are not.

Suspended floor here and the difference was not subtle. My partner downstairs noticed before I told her I had changed anything, which is about as blind as my testing gets.

Every time this comes up someone promises measurements and nobody ever posts them. Would genuinely love to be proved wrong here.

Half the effect people report is probably just the speaker ending up a few degrees more upright and better aimed. Which is still an improvement, just not the one on the box.

For subs it is a different conversation entirely. Decoupling a sub from a wooden floor in a flat is basically a neighbour relations product.
